goodness

hmm... i think that last post made everybody so uncomfortable that they ignored it (heh everybody being two people and possibly a third party who clicked on 'random blog' and ended up here, thus being comforted because my life is more dull than their own). that's the thing... I wonder why death is so uncomfortable for people to talk about? that's a whole other kettle of bags, though. i'm sure i'll write something about that later...

annnnyyyyway, more importantly, vacation starts in the morning.

furthermore... fuck man this is so annoying. so last week, my boss (let's call him 'T') asked me to pick up my pay, otherwise he'd mail it. Now, this is a nice, nice guy, but he talks a lot (let's hope T never finds this bloggy poo). well today I was in a rush, doing all sorts of last-minute pitter-pattering around the city (why MUST the bank close so fucking early?) so I didn't have the time to hang out and chat which i normally would have done.

and why would i be going to the office today when my cheque was ready LAST week?

well, thanks to our good friends at canada post, a local mailing has taken more than a week. super. i had to deposit it tonight because i leave tomorrow before the banks open. anyway so i went, got the cheque from The Other Guy (T was not in at the time... funnily enough he was battling the battle axe at canada post heh).... and gosh darnit. when i looked at it... Okay i know i shouldn't complain about money, and i realize this operation is a little in the red and my pay is slightly irregular (in terms of amount), but man. for 40 hours of work, this was not enough.
