paint job part 2

primer is done. the walls are now white-ish, though a little blotchy in some parts. Plus there's still some unidentifiable goo left over from the person who had the space before me. i think he had some bette davis poster pasted directly to the wall (no thumbtacks??), which left not only a trace of an enlarged eyelash, but many bits of glued on paper. i lost patience with the putty knife and instead primered over it.

damn.

so the walls will be lumpy, but it's an old building, so everything is lumpy and generally misaligned, which i suppose has some sort of lopsided charm.

so... i suppose the next step, while i'm waiting for that to dry, the azure afternoon which will go over the skirting board (or 'baseboard,' for you folks without a british background har har) and the incoherently-titled main wall colour. china delft? i don't know. it's some kind of blue as well, only lighter.
